Guidance and Useful Information
Three probation forms are available for Leadership, Teacher and Support Staff.
The forms have been designed as a tool to guide your conversations at the 3 probationary review meetings during the probation period (1 month, 3 month and 5 months.
Following the completion of the probation period, if the employee has been successful please ensure you send a letter confirming this is the case. If you have any concerns about your employee during the probation period please speak to your HR Partner at the earliest possible opportunity.
Fixed term or Temporary Contracts
GLF guidelines are available which will assist with determining when and if it is appropriate to use a fixed-term or temporary contract. The guidelines are available on the GLF Schools website in the staff HR templates area here. Please contact the HR team if you require further support.
